Miraculous

Were we formed by the hand of the Lord from the earth, or did we evolve from the minerals and gases of the primordial earth? Either way, it is truly a miracle! Those who require a specific description miss the miraculous from either point of view.

Scientifically, we know that we’re a little part "star stuff". Our hemoglobin molecules contain the element iron, which was formed from exploding supernovas in outer space. Religiously, we know that we evolve into higher spiritual beings through a mysterious spiritual grace.

When we see these concepts together, they merge into awe. This is the basis for those in Science who are Believers and those in Religion who are Scientists. Those who require the tyranny of fixed ideas see none of the miraculous.
